Community Lounge
Community Lounge Rules
Gynsyng's Community Lounge is meant to be a place of harmony, friendship and enjoyment. These rules are meant to ensure everybody has an enjoyable visit.
- Nobody under 21 years old in the consumption area. We will check everybody's ID (twice) before allowing entrance to the lounge.
- You will have to sign a waiver in order to be allowed in the lounge.
- We will ask how you are getting home. We prefer ride shares. If you are driving yourself, we will have to place limits and conditions on you, because the good people of Merchantville rightly expect us to.
- If you have a valid NJ CRC patient ID card, you can bring in cannabis you purchased at any licensed NJ dispensary (or at Gynsyng), but it must be unexpired, in the original packaging and with a recent receipt or order confirmation.
- Recreational customers must purchase their cannabis at Gynsyng on the day of their visit to the lounge and in unopened packaging. Anonymous purchases are allowed, but you must show a receipt.
- No alcohol or tobacco. At all. If you try to sneak it, we reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately.
- Customers arriving intoxicated or impaired will be denied entry.
- You can bring only one package of edibles (100mg of THC) into the lounge (per person). We can store purchases over the lounge limit in the vault until your departure. We can also store cannabis you purchased but do not intend to consume during your session in the vault until you are ready to leave.
- We will provide basic glassware for you to use and will have fancier glassware available for rental. If you break it, though, you bought it. Rental pieces that are broken will be charged the retail price of the piece.
- You can bring your own glassware, but Gynsyng will not clean your nasties before or after use. You will have to sign a waiver that Gynsyng is not responsible for any damage to your precious.
- No large flames (e.g. torches). Let's not burn the place down, ok?
- No pets in the consumption area, other than service animals. Our waiver states you will be responsible for your service animal's behavior and any health effects it may experience. And by "service animal" we mean legit trained service animals - no emotional support skunks or silliness like that. You probably know we are required to admit service animals, but we are not required to admit you!
- If we are near full capacity (about 50 people), we may limit sessions to 90 minutes. We will let you know if this is the case when you arrive.
- If you would like to consume tobacco during your session, you may exit the building and do so. If you would like to take your cannabis with you, we will provide a tamper-evident container. If you would like to leave it behind, Gynsyng will not be responsible for guarding it.
- If you would like to consume alcohol during your session, you may exit the building and do so, but you may not return, so take your stuff with you.
- Consuming cannabis is cool, but no other recreational drugs.
- Backpacks / large bags will be quickly searched by a burly staff member. This will be a quick visual check, like when entering a museum, to make sure nothing crazy is coming in. No firearms or anything that is typically used as a weapon. If you are looking for trouble, there are other places here in Camden County you may find more to your liking.
- Any leftover product not consumed has to depart with you in a sealed package. We will provide tamper seals.
- No shirt, no shoes, no pants, no service! Swimming attire is not allowed in the lounge. No roller blades or wheeled shoes. Just dress normal, you know?
- No hanky-panky in the lounge.
- Just be cool and have a good time. Be nice and friendly. If you see somebody wondering which end of the bong is which, help them out!
